Training is all about bringing or deepening the knowledge of the participants on specific topics. Even though elements of coaching can also appear during a training session, the key is on knowledge transfer and practice.
When is training recommended?
We recommend training to our clients when there’s a specific problem that needs new or common knowledge across the team. It can also establish the basis to establish a common language for an organization or even a winning corporate culture.
Training with onTarget
We always target our trainings specific to the needs of the client’s team, aiming to achieve real positive and measurable business impact. In some cases, our trainings are one off, focusing on a single topic or competency.
Based on clients feedback we also know that the impact of such a single training course can be limited: many times, everyday business overrides the intention to put the knowledge into practice. Therefore, we frequently design and execute a so called „development process” consisting a pre-work, multiple training courses combined with consulting and coaching (links to those pages here). With such a development process the improvement is sustainable and the measurablebusiness impact is more significant.
Couple of key topics we already proved to help our clients improve with: individual effectiveness, time management, effective communication and presentation, project management and leadership development. One of the most popular courses is the 7 habits of highly effective people which – among other trainings – we deliver in partnership with FranklinCovey Hungary.
Some of our previous clients are EDC Debrecen, Qualysoft, Wizz Air, WOCO Hungary and KONE Hungary.
Frequently asked questions
- How is training different from coaching?
Training is typically for teams aiming to provide knowledge transfer while coaching is more for helping to apply already established knowledge.
- How long is a training?
It varies. Our most popular trainings are 2 to 3 days long.
- Can you do training remotely, over the internet?
There are examples of such delivery, it’s yet uncommon to see them in regular practice in Hungary. It’s key that the trainer is able to connect with the participants and to provide constant feedback on their progress.
- What’s your basis for recommending a training course to your client?
Our team first establishes a clear understanding of your needs, the collaboration, then we develop our offer. Based on feedbacks from our clients we know that our price-benefit ratio enables a quick return on investment for our clients
